Particularly in asian cultures the circle equals perfection, the beginning and the end. The icon of God. In this context, The Last Drop crops and zooms the symbol of God in an imperfect way, the human way. Not centered, repeated... almost hypnotic. One could even assume that this painting represents God seen from a human, incomplete and doubtfull eye. The colours play a critical role. Yet, they're minimal, decluttered: red for blood, emotions, life itself. Black for what remains unknown, for the void and its mistery. Silver to connect both, silver for Time. The Last human vision of God. Thus, a drop. A teardrop in the void. Meditative, full of meaning and harmony. Congratulations, superior masterpiece.
